Rucking seriāla posms Smiltenē

Saturday, 14. November19:00· Jaunsardzes centrs, Smiltene

On 14 November, the final stage of the SPĒKA SPEKTRS Rucking series and the Readiness Festival will take place in Smiltene, bringing together in one place an active lifestyle, a hike, a sporting challenge, a sense of community and practical knowledge that can be useful both in everyday life and in unforeseen situations.

Rucking is a physical activity based on moving with a backpack. Participants in the event will be able to choose the format most suitable for them – the Tautas klase or the Sporta klase.

The Tautas klase is suitable for everyone – families, groups of friends, work teams and all who want to go on a hike at a leisurely pace along a route prepared by the organizers. In this class, the result is not assessed and the weight of the backpack is not controlled, allowing the main focus to be devoted to movement, enjoying nature and being together.

In the Sporta klase, on the other hand, participants will have to complete the distance for time with the minimum backpack weight specified in the regulations, competing for the best result in their age group. This distance will be suitable for physically active people, runners, functional fitness and strength sports enthusiasts, as well as anyone who wants to test their endurance.

An integral part of the event will be the Readiness Festival, where participants and visitors will be able to take part in various practical and educational activities. There will be an opportunity to learn first aid skills, get to know the work of rescue services, learn more about communications, equipment, self-sufficiency and readiness for emergency situations, as well as try various tasks.

Several partners have already confirmed participation in the festival, including Jaunsardzes centrs, Valsts ugunsdzēsības un glābšanas dienests, Valsts robežsardze, Latvijas Sarkanais Krusts, Latvijas Radioamatieru līga and others.

SPĒKA SPEKTRS founder Jānis Vanags emphasizes that the aim of the event is to build a society in which physical fitness, practical knowledge and self-sufficiency become part of everyday life.

The Smiltene stage will be an opportunity for everyone not only to challenge themselves physically, but also to gain valuable skills and knowledge, meet like-minded people and spend an active day together with family or friends.

Registration and the event regulations are available on the "Spēka Centrs" website.
