On Saturday, 17 October, from 10:00 to 16:00, the traditional Rīgas ielas tirdziņš will take place in Daugavpils. Traders from Latvia, Lithuania and other countries will participate, offering a wide range of food products – home-baked bread and pastries, honey and beekeeping products, herbal teas, spices, cheeses, sweets, sea buckthorn, hemp and lavender products.
Craft and applied art products will also be available to visitors – woven baskets, wooden utensils, beeswax candles, natural cosmetics, wool and leather products, jewellery and souvenirs, as well as artists' paintings and interior items.
Rīgas ielas tirdziņš will take place on the section of Rīgas iela from Cietokšņa to Stacijas iela, and it is organised by the Daugavpils valstspilsētas pašvaldības iestāde “Komunālās saimniecības pārvalde”.
