"Miķeļdienu jampadracis"

We invite you to a merry “Miķeļdiena jampadracis” filled with autumn moods!

During the event, a market square will operate, where you can buy and sell what has been grown and prepared in summer. The festive mood will be enhanced by performances of amateur groups, as well as a shared treat with “Sēlijas smeķis”.

A special event will be the mightiest pumpkin contest – we invite everyone to participate with their mightiest pumpkin of this year! We will measure the pumpkins and honour their growers.

At 14.00, viewers will be delighted by Kokneses amatierteātris with Edvards Vulfa's play “Līnis murdā” under the direction of director Inguna Strazdiņa.

Home producers and craftspeople are also invited to apply for the event.
