Playwright Éric Assous’s witty comedy “Lomu spēles” (original title “Les Portes du Hasard”), which has delighted audiences and critics in many places around the world, will continue its journey to audiences throughout Latvia this autumn.

World-famous French theater and film director, screenwriter, and playwright Éric Assous’s plays have been staged in many places worldwide, but in Latvia, at the Dailes Theatre (2017), his work “Mūsējās” was staged, which earned great viewer affection. Assous has also received the prestigious Molière Award, which is the main theater prize in France, and numerous feature films have been made based on his witty screenplays - “Vienkārši mīlestība”, “Mūsu sievietes”, etc.

About the show: Pierre is a family man, commercial director at a photo lens manufacturing company. While his wife and son have gone on vacation to a ski resort, the director decides to invite a young girl he accidentally met at a bar to his home. In the prime of middle age, he has decided for the first time to taste the “forbidden fruit”, starting a promising flirtation, but everything does not go as planned, and the events and unexpected twists experienced during the night will change Pierre's life forever.
