Latvijas Pumptrack čempionāts Tīrainē

On September 26 in Tīraine, for the first time on a separate competition day, the Velosolutions Pumptrack Latvian Championship will take place, bringing together riders of various ages and skill levels from all over Latvia.

Pumptrack sports in Latvia have become increasingly popular in recent years, but until now the Latvian Championship has not had a separate competition day fully dedicated to this discipline. This year that will change, and the Velosolutions pumptrack in Tīraine will become the center of Latvian pumptrack sports for one day.

Experienced riders as well as young athletes will start in the competition. Participants will compete in Bike and Bike PRO classes, as well as skateboard, roller skate, and scooter disciplines. U-10, U-14, U-18, and OPEN age groups are planned, with separate evaluation for women and men.

In pumptrack competitions, not only speed is of decisive importance, but also precise trajectory, technique, and the ability to use every element of the track effectively. Results will be recorded with an electronic time measurement system.

Competition schedule:

at 10.00 AM - participant registration;

11.00 AM-04.00 PM - qualification runs;

at approx. 02.30 PM - awards ceremony.

Participation in the competition is free of charge, and riders of various ages are invited to take part.

The competition is organized by SIA “We Build Parks” in cooperation with Mārupe Municipality and the Latvian Cycling Federation.
