A tragic crisis in one act. Oedipus wisely and honestly rules Thebes after saving the city from ruin by solving the Riddle of the Sphinx. Before his arrival, King Laius was murdered, but the killer remains unknown. When plague strikes Thebes again, the gods foretell that the disaster will not end until the murderer is found and banished. Oedipus will do everything to find him, without suspecting that in searching for the killer, unknown facts about himself will be revealed and he will be plunged into a deep personal crisis, which is a humanly inevitable part of everyone's journey of self-discovery. A story about the journey to the truth at any cost. This time the price is very high. But is it possible to truly deeply experience life without it?
