Burtnieku bibliotēkā notiks izglītojošs līdzdalības pasākums

As part of European Sustainable Development Week, on Tuesday, 17 September, Valmieras novada pašvaldība invites residents and interested parties to a meeting at Burtnieku bibliotēka.

The aim of the event is to promote understanding of the preservation of biodiversity and long-term thinking in the management of public green areas, so together we will discuss the shaping of the park landscape and its practical, environmentally friendly management. The event will be led by Līga Bieziņa, spatial and strategic development planner at the Development Administration of Valmieras novada pašvaldība, who will also talk about the opportunities of the participatory budget. During the meeting, we will invite those present to actively get involved and submit their ideas for participatory budget project applications for the development of the county!

During the event, municipal specialists will present the conceptual plan for the park's development and the work already carried out with the support of “Meža dienas 2026”.
