Arta Šimpermeņa koncertprogramma "Dzimtās mājas"

On October 18 at 16.00 at Bauska Cultural Centre, Artis Šimpermanis's latest concert programme “Dzimtās mājas” will be performed – a musical story about the place to which one always wants to return.

The start of the concert tour is scheduled for October 10 in Gulbene, and it will continue in various Latvian towns, taking the audience through heartfelt, sincere and emotionally fulfilling afternoons. The programme will feature audience-favorite songs as well as pieces from the concert programme “Dzimtās mājas”. This programme has been specially created, and Artis has prepared for it with great care.

Artis Šimpermanis says about the concert tour: “For me, this programme is very personal. I have put into it the feeling that arises when a person returns to a place where they are understood without words. I want these concerts to become a moment of meeting where each of us feels our ‘homelessness’ – even if just for one afternoon.” [Note: translation follows source precisely]
