The main character of the film is 11-year-old Mērija, who has a special relationship with her grandmother. Both are united by a love of cooking, and Mērija dreams of becoming a chef one day.

One day, a mysterious woman arrives at Mērija's, taking the girl, her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on an unusual journey through family history. This becomes an opportunity for four generations of women in the family to truly get to know and better understand each other.
